Manager links absolute rubbish - Ollie

Having impressed with Blackpool this season there were some fears amongst the Bloomfield Road faithful that a bigger club might try and snap him up.

Despite having the opportunity to work with a multi-millionaire backer Holloway has rubbished talks he will leave Blackpool and says he is content with his current club.

Holloway said: "I know I've got a few chickens but it is ridiculous to link me with that. It is absolute rubbish.

"I signed a contract at Blackpool in the summer, which lasts this season and next season, and I am more than happy. I don't need to talk to anybody.

"I haven't got an agent and I don't really want one any more. I am just happy talking to my chairman about the job I'm doing here.

"I am privileged to have this job and I am trying to do the best I can."

Ollie Blasts Ref

The Seasiders captain will miss his side's Barclays Premier League clash with Tottenham next weekend, and Holloway felt the match official made the wrong call.

Adam received the booking - his fifth of the campaign - from referee Anthony Taylor in the first half at the Britannia Stadium following an aerial challenge with Dean Whitehead.

"I thought Charlie's booking was absolute nonsense," Holloway told the Blackpool Gazette.

"He won a brilliant header. You've got to try to win headers in games like this and he went for it. Their fella was rolling about on the floor.

"Charlie must have caught him but I don't think he meant it."
