Blackpool boss Ian Holloway was concerned his side were not unduly affected by a bug sweeping the club. The Seasiders recorded a 2-0 victory at Derby on Boxing Day, but Holloway revealed after the game that a number of players had felt ill prior to the match.

"There is a little bit of a bug going about," he said. "Charlie (Adam) was ill and Brett (Ormerod) felt ill, but if he's going to feel ill and play like that I hope he feels ill for the rest of his life.

"I feel absolutely terrible myself," added Holloway. "Hopefully we haven't got what Matt Gilks has got which is a bit of swine flu."

Today's postponement may not please the fans but in view of the flu-bug sweeping the club it may prove a blessing in disguise.
