On-loan Blackpool winger Jason Puncheon believes he is beginning to find his feet in the top flight.

Puncheon, 24, has scored two goals in three starts since arriving from League One Southampton on a short-term deal.

He said: "I don't know if I was a little bit star-struck because this is the Premier League but I didn't do myself justice at the start.

"But I've been working hard day in, day out, to prove myself and get the minutes on the pitch to show what I can do. I'm loving it here."

Adam looking forward to bright Scotland future.

Charlie Adam hopes this weekend's clash with Brazil will be just one of many special occasions to come for him with Scotland.

The Blackpool midfielder is set to earn his ninth cap when the two countries meet at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The 25-year-old is currently in La Manga with the rest of the squad for a training camp before the clash in London.

Adam told Blackpool`s official website: "I think making your debut (is a proud moment), but every time I step out on the pitch for my country is a proud moment.

"As a kid you grow up and wonder if you'll get the opportunity to play for your country and I'm very fortunate that I've done it. I just hope I've got many more special occasions ahead of me."

Gilks edging closer

Blackpool goalkeeper Matt Gilks believes he could be ready to return to action in the club's next match.

Gilks, 28, has been sidelined since November after fracturing his kneecap against West Ham.

He then suffered a minor calf injury playing for the reserves last week but is now targeting a return at Fulham on April 3.

He told the club`s official website: "The knee has been fine for six weeks but it is the muscle around it that has needed a bit of work.

"The calf injury is something and nothing. Hopefully I will back for the Fulham game."
