Blackpool v West Brom Preview

Last updated : 02 February 2010 By The Seasider

West Brom left-back Joe Mattock missed training on Monday because of illness and will be assessed before boss Roberto Di Matteo names his squad.

New signing Andy Slory has been included in the Albion squad after receiving international clearance.

MATCH PREVIEW

Third-placed West Brom, who have won five of their last eight matches, will go back into the automatic promotion places if they win on Wednesday.

Not only are the Baggies the top scorers in the Championship, they also boast an excellent away record and are unbeaten in their last eight league games on the road.

But Ian Holloway's Blackpool, who are seventh, are also very much part of the promotion race and have been in good goalscoring form themselves.

The Tangerines have lost only one of their last six league matches and have scored in each of their last 13 Championship games - currently the longest such sequence in the division.
