Blackpool V Reading at Bloomfield Road - Match Preview

Ince back for Seasiders

Thomas Ince is back from suspension to bolster Blackpool's options when Reading visit Bloomfield Road.

The winger, who has recently been carrying a minor groin strain and pulled out of the England Under-21 squad last week, has served a two-game ban which was handed out by the FA following the derby defeat to Preston.

His return gives the Tangerines more attacking options given Michael Chopra, Nathan Delfouneso, new signing Ricardo Fuller and Bobby Grant are all lacking match fitness.

Manager Paul Ince also has concerns over midfielder Barry Ferguson and defender Craig Cathcart while winger Matt Phillips is out again due to a broken arm.

Kaspars Gorkss should return to the Reading squad.

The experienced centre-half was rested for last weekend's 3-3 draw against Watford having played for Latvia a couple of days earlier.

Winger Jimmy Kebe remains doubtful with a groin problem, midfielder Mikele Leigertwood is still out recovering from ankle surgery and striker Jason Roberts continues to be sidelined by a hip problem.

But boss Nigel Adkins has no new injury worries, although he could rotate his squad with the likes of Hal Robson-Kanu and Pavel Pogrebnyak pushing for recalls.
