MATCH PREVIEW

After a controversial and ultimately disastrous six-month spell as Leicester City manager, Ian Holloway was keen to restore his reputation following his appointment as Blackpool boss last summer.

He has certainly done that, leading the Tangerines to seventh in the table and one point off a play-off place. Holloway's side have been a surprise package this season and have failed to score in only three league games - fewer than any other Championship club.

Leicester, relegated under Holloway the season before last, have also impressed in their first season back in the second tier. The Foxes are one place below Blackpool and still in with a chance of back-to-back promotions under Nigel Pearson.

But both teams have stuttered recently. Blackpool have only managed one victory in six games, while Leicester have failed to score in their last three matches and are still awaiting their first win of 2010.
