Alex John Baptiste who put in a transfer request at the end of last season following over 200 sappearances for Mansfield ended the growing speculation about his future away from Field Mill when he agreed a 2 year deal with the Seasiders with a further years option ealier today.
Baptise was half way through a 3 year deal with the Stags after playing non-league football with Tamworth and Burton Albion.
